In lieu of this, large businesses nation wide have been known to refer to building s new business and bringing jobs to a community as “Codding.”

1. The waters used to desalt codfish during it's preparation. Codfish should be immerse in cold water, in the proportions of 2/3 water to 1/3 codfish, during several hours. The water should be renewed every 6-8 hours.
