A Y-hole happens when you go to Youtube to watch a specific video but then end up continually watching related videos until a large chunk of time has lapsed and you can hardly remember the first video you had watched, likely because you are too tangentially removed from whence you began.

Sorry I'm late. I went on Youtube to watch a Noam Chomsky interview and before I knew what was happening, I was watching videos of people getting hit repeatedly with pies. I lost the last few hours of my life stuck in a Y-hole.
