Florida Math

Also known as “Anti-Woke Math.” Math curriculums, textbooks, and resources that include materials that whitewash any centuries-long contributions from nonwhite and LGBT mathematicians and math educators worldwide; or contents that exclude any elements of critical race theory, social-emotional learning, journal writing, ethnomathematics, and other MAGA dislikes.
In 2022, the Department of Education rejected more than 40% of math textbooks publishers submitted, because they fell short of the “high” standards set up by Florida math curriculum censors, who work closely with puritan parents and “anti-woke” lawmakers.

Bank Math

A method of financial management that involves rounding any transaction up to the next dollar amount. Bank math prevents any overdrafting of bank accounts because the amount remaining in the account is always more than you believe it to be.
Let's see, the burger is $4.79, and the fries are $2.19. So quick Bank Math, that's like $8, and I have $15 in my account, so I should have $7 left for tonight.

Rainbow Math

When liberal publishers in some Western countries decide to green-light math titles by LGBT+ authors in spite of the high risk of offending or alienating conservative potential customers—when they argue that sexual orientation and math publication needn’t be mutually exclusive.
Radical Islamist groups from rogue nations like Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Iran have warned foreign publishers that their publications would be removed from bookstores if they’re caught shipping rainbow math titles to both Mohammedans and “infidels.”

Armchair Math

When authors of pop math books or e-books try to give their readers a make-believe mathematical experience, by keeping formulas and equations to a minimum, because for the publisher, every additional equation in the book has the potential of halving the sales figures.
Dubbed as “math lite,” armchair math goes some way in helping math-anxious readers appreciate the beauty, ubiquity, and utility of math in real life.

Sharia Math

Math problems that directly or indirectly leverage on dozens of man-made religious rules, which often discriminate against women and girls, that dictate how faithful Mohammedans ought to live among “infidels,” especially if they are the minority in the population.
Radical Islamist groups want certain math topics like percentages, probability, and statistics to be banned from a sharia math curriculum, because they promote interest rate earnings, unhealthy lifestyles, or gambling, which could lead students into unwholesome activities or vice, thus compromising their faith.
