gravity blast

gravity blast refers to a drumming technique used exclusively in extreme metal. It is a one handed roll accomplished by boucing the stick off the rim of the snare drum while hitting the head of the snare drum in a continuous manner. Not to be confused with a regular blast beat which is just 32nd notes on one hand as fast as possible. When mastered a gravity blast sounds like an extremely rapid firing machine gun, perfect for backing apocalyptic demonic death metal riffs that make you wanna rape your mom and kill your dog while bathing in the blood of your failed messiah.

The gravity blast is used by bands such as Cryptopsy, Origin, Brain Drill, Vatic Ash just to name a few.

Black Lagoon

Possibly one of the most bitchin' animes ever made. The story follows a team of pirates/mercenaries known as Lagoon Company, who smuggle goods in and around the seas of Southeast Asia in the 1990s3. Their base of operations is located in the fictional city of Roanapur in Thailand, and they transport goods in the PT boat Black Lagoon. When on land, they move around and conduct business using Benny's Pontiac GTO. Lagoon Company does business with various clients, but has a particularly friendly relationship with the Russian crime syndicate Hotel Moscow. The team takes on a variety of missions—which may involve violent firefights, hand-to-hand combat, and nautical battles—in various Southeast Asian locations and when not doing much, the members of the Lagoon Company spend much of their down time at The Yellow Flag, a bar in Roanapur.

This anime can be seen as a darker Cowboy Bebop with higher shorts on the girl.

The absence of all color. The passive aspect in yin and yang, with white being active and black being passive. White represents conscious actions, and black represents subconscious actions. Black does not reflect any color, it only absorbs it. I.E. black hole.
