I white person, usually from the suburbs, who feels the need to project a more sophisticated outward appearance of themselves by adopting Buddhism which is, to them, a very exotic quality, in order to impress others.

Yeah, after a year in San Francisco he became a wuddhist but still spends all of his disposable income on prostitutes and cocaine.
