ZAP

The sound made when one executes a traitor. When doing so, gesture with your hand as if using a pistol. Usually done in groups. Being a traitor is highly variable, depending solely on the mood and whatever action is performed. Jocular in usage.

Zap Head

A person who lacks basic attentiveness, indiscriminately oblivious to surroundings, who chronically blunders, forgets or overlooks things, usually through lack of foresight, planning or basic common sense and mental ineptitude. Implies that said individual's brain is permanently or impermanently zapped, or short-circuited into malfunction.

Yo! Emmanuel blew up his third microwave this year, after leaving the same spoon in his soup again.. What a Zap Head!

zap brannigan

Zap Brannigan is the captain of the Nimbus in the show Futurama. He is cocky, narcissistic, and desperately in love with Leela (or just wants to sleep with her). None of the main characters can really stand him and his sad attempts to look like a hero. He can, at times, be unprofessional, ignorant, wanting of attention, inappropriate, and sexist (but of course, that's what makes him Zap).

Zap brannigan:"Now you're now officially my woman. Kudos! I can't say I don't envy you."

Leela:"Zap, last night was a mistake."

Zap brannigan:"A sexy mistake."

Brain Zap

A brain zap is common withdrawal symptom of certain anti-depression and anti-anxiety drugs. A seemingly electrical pulse is felt to rush across the brain. Not painful but momentarily disorienting. A brain zap is usually not unpleasant and may be followed by a few seconds of slightly dizzy or even euphoric feeling.

When ever I watch DVDs on my cheap player, the movie always seems to have a little pause or brain zap right in the middle.
