Shoot Your Shot

To be brave and having the audacity to do something that might be embarrassing. “Shooting your shot” takes motivation; it means that you only have one chance to do something before you loose that chance.

Ex. It could be your crush that broke up with her/his bf/gf and you’ve been waiting to speak to her for ages. (That would be your chance to speak to her/him)

Friend: Hey man I heard that Jessica is single
Guy: Oh really?!

Friend: Yeah shoot your shot
Guy: *Waits two months*
Friend: Did you hear? Jessica has a bf
Guy: Aww sh*t

Friend: Ugh I told you to shoot your shot...

Very common in public areas such as subways and stores, and at social gatherings.

After Alan emitted quite a pungent SBD, he quickly made his way to the other side of the room, pulling a classic toot and scoot, before anyone could realize what he'd done.
