Used after sentences to express that there is a metaphor in it. It can be generally interchanged with like-clause:

It is X, so to speak.
It is like X.

I love this jacket. I always wear it when I go to work. It is a uniform for me, so to speak.

Speak to the organ grinder not the monkey.

Wanting to talk to the boss not his sidekick.
Organ grinders being the boss, and the monkey being the one who helps him out.

Normally used in a conversation to describe the 'monkey' as someone who's interfering and defending or covering for the the 'organ grinder'.

Shut up! I wish to speak to the organ grinder not the monkey.

Drummer Speak

n. (noun)
An oral language used to talk about the noise coming from the percussion section when one or more parties in the conversation cannot read percussion music. It is spoken largely by Drummers, Bassists, Conductors, and a select few others.

Guitarist: "um... yeah, I want you to do that one thing with your snare and the um..."

Bassist: "I think in Drummer Speak he means 'Dum-ka-tick-ka CHA CHA CHA-ka-dum-kah-dum dum kah-dum-kah-tick-kah-chick-kah-tick-kah duh-kah-duh tsss~."

Drummer: "Oh, sure."

The official unofficial language of the police when speaking to the public. Including: the press, in the courts, to witnesses or the general population.

Then the officer went right into Cop-speak."The subject was observed entering the a fore mentioned entry way. Documented to be breached around 1300 hours, the door was found to be, uh, dislodged with an unidentified object. The perp. was reportedly seen grasping that device by a reliable witness blah, blah, blah......"

Sieana

She is the bestest friend in the whole wide world!! No one had her name on this it was only "Sienna" so I decided to make one for her! I don't know what I would do without her and my other best friend (Peyton). I keep forgetting that we're not friends no more but oh well. They are still my "bestfriends" in my heart whether they like it or not. Sieana is a kind girl and she is very shy. She tends to hide her emotions and use her humor to cover them up. Even though she doesn't know it, she is very beautiful. You will never meet someone like and will regret it if you lose her. She is very funny and weird and does anything for her friends if she thinks it's best... If you see this, i'm horrible at "breaks" I'm A'Ok if we all can try to make this work again, I can't do 8th grade alone....this was really hard to get published ;-;
