Off The Binary. A description of an action in a non-binary person's life, rather than considering it a coming out, it the act of rejecting or identifying with the gender-binary. It is a way to safely use former pronouns if you knew, dated, or had sexual relations with a person while on the binary, and to distinguish that the person you dated was a different gender than they are now, and acknowledging that the person uses different pronouns now.

Similar to "OTD" or "Off the Derech" for Hasidic Jews leaving the fold, yet being going off the gender binary is used in more positive context.
