A linear expression was used no where, but the teacher forced us to learn it anyways.

Lanark County

A place in Ontario, close by Ottawa. In Lanark County, everybody has a twang in their voice. (Sort of like Trailer Park Boys) Every person in this small county is a heavy alcoholic, and they all "Git'R'Done." They are hicks, and they invented mud boggin'. The small town, Lanark, is the town that is eccentric with all these things. It is a true hick town

Oh, and according to the Ottawa Classic Rock radio station, they prefer horse milk over cow milk.

linear

(radio slang)

An amplifier used after the transceiver output. So named for its purity of amplification. Linear, in the mathematical sense, means that what comes out is directly proportional to what goes in. As far as linear amps go, if you double the input, the output is doubled and so on. This does not generate any additional frequency byproducts. If the amp is nonlinear, sums, differences and all combinations of those are generated also.

(verb) When playing a sport that normally requires two balls, such as Beer pong, a ball is lost but the game is kept going. Pronounced quickly and slurred as a single word version of "Lance Armstrong" due to its use during drinking games.

Damn, we lost a ball! Fuck it, we'll lancearmstrong it for now on!
