Joe lived cheap and was condemnatious of people that worked hard and had nice things, dubbing them "materiakistic," however he worked on one project after the other trying to make it rich because he had a desire monster living in his brain.

Pretending to not be upset but then being ultra passive aggressive to levels where x (representing a quantitative level of passive aggressiveness) reaches a limit at infinity and then bitching about the said cause of annoyance later to some poor sap.
