A variation of the common word dawg, pronounced "daahg". A term of endearment, or something you'd call your friend/brother/homie

Don: Huh?
Pete: I said wassup darg, like as in 'dawg'...

Dagoba

Popular band from France that used to produce awesome 2nd generation Neo Thrash Metal with amazing drums, unique vocals and unmelodic bass and guitar. Their early albums contained aggressive, but at the same time happy songs. (try Release The Fury (2001) and Dagoba (2003)) Then they got more melodic and lost much of their original style. Now they softened their sound extremely and got far slower, sometimes even use clean vocals and now they sound nearly as whiney and soft as emos do.
Metalhead1: Did you try the new Dagoba album?
Metalhead2: Not yet. You have it? Awesome!
*listening*
Metalhead1 *sleeps*
Metalhead2: ew, boring! Hey, wake up!
