Target

Target. A place that lures you in with words like "team members" and "work together". When in reality, it's a shithole ran by some of the most selfish people on the planet. Corporate has no idea what it's like being on the store level so they blindly set policies and set standards that are impossible to reach. Leaders expect you to perform 100% perfection whilst not giving you any help. The scheduling is horrible. Always shortstaffed, lines are always long, drive up times are always overdue and building up because there's never any help. And so instead of scheduling appropriately, they force non leaders to pick up the slack and do the work of 5 people. Then have the nerve to ask team members why guests are having a bad experience and what can be done to fix it, as if the problem isn't completely obvious. Do yourself a favor and don't work there. You will regret it.

contrary to popular belief, Target is not a bad place to shop and/or work. They pay me more than any of my friends make at thier jobs, and i always walk out knowing that i had a good, productive day, that i would have otherwise spent on my ass. the one problem I have is that they have recently cracked down on thier minor policy, and if we work one minute after 8 hours, we get yelled at. pay is good, atmosphere is good, its a clean store. superior to wal-mart in every conceivable way. the people there are amazing, and everyone is nice. more upscale than wal-mart, but prices that are not even close to high.

i dont see why yallz be hatin' on target. its a good place.
