Oxford, North Carolina

A pretty small city in granville county, typically characterized by overly racist people on all sides of the fence. The best thing about it is the new wal-mart if that says anything...The library is finally being rebuilt. There's a really cool museum in the old jailhouse (where else IS there for a museum?!). New food places include cookout, bojangles, and the kick ass mexican restaurant mazatlan. 96 buffet is sketch though.

Oxford

The finest institution of higher learning in the English-speaking world. Educator of philosophers, Kings, Presidents, and other eminent individuals. Also quite a lovely town, replete with beautiful scenery and impressive architecture.

Often derided by a tribe of ill-mannered savages who "study" somewhere in the wilds of East Anglia.

Bloke 1: "I'll have you know, I study at Cambridge."

Bloke 2: "Brilliant! I'll mention you to my flatmates up at Oxford, we are looking for a new butler."

Oxford Academy

A high school in Cypress, California, that boasts scores within the state's top five schools. As a magnet school, it has a hell of a lot of Asians, and some would say Oxford's lucky to have only the one "r" in its name. Its student body is politically moderate in social matters and right-leaning in economic ones, though extremists exist on both sides.

Oxfordism

Stupid phrases or quotes said by everyday people. Influenced by the famous dumb quotes of Mr. G.W. Bush, that came to be known as bushisms, the only requirements for an oxfordism are:
1) it has to be funny.
2) it has to be stupid in nature.
3) it has to never have been said before.

The word Oxfordism gives credit to the University of Oxford (the oldest English speaking university) mixed with famous Bushisms stated above.

Eric: "I'm a liberal! i stand for liberty!"
Tim: "Are you serious right now? wow, that was quite an oxfordism there, Eric."

1. a school in the middle of nowhere (Oxford, GA) that no body knows of, wheres theres nothing to do except drink yourself stupid and go hang out in the woods neard the confederate graveyard
2. the backdoor into emory
3. a place that when your friends ask you where you go to school, you just say emory to save urself the trouble of explaining what oxford is
4. a school so small that you know every who goes there, has gone there, and will eventually go there

Located in the shittiest, smallest town you can think of, also known as “cowtown” or “oxhood”. Full of white people, white supremacists, white potheads who act like they’re black, and a crazy superintendent/principal duo. Trump supporter central. Mostly rich kids who are completely sheltered to the world. Most kids graduate from here and stay in Ct their whole lives. Opioid problems, overdoses, shitty parties, judgemental people, lightweights, vape central and crazy bitches. Known for rivalry with Seymour high. Wins one game and acts like they’re undefeated when in reality all the sports teams suck. Most likely to win an award for “most kids peaked in highschool” or “least school spirit”
