Sad Nauseum

When the media (mainly television) will report non-stop about "sad" events such as Darfur, AIDS, people dying of the Swine Flu, a teenager's dying last wish fulfilled, philantropy of billionaires, athletes visiting cancer wards and later playing that night through the anguish, Brett Favre's Monday Night Football game after his father died, people losing their homes and Jimmy Carter's response to it, "Where's Caylee," a man or woman who used to make six figures working at Fridays, 9/11 (and anything 9/11 related) and other lugubrious moments that are recycled for the purpose of jerking our tears and jolting the ratings of the networks.

KELLY: Did you see Nancy Grace last night? A baby was raped, a couple lost their home, Bill Gates donated 1 billion to Darfu, another baby was raped, Derek Jeter gave a random baseball to an 8-year old with an inoperable brain tumor, 9/11, 9/11, economy hurt people, baby raped again.

KEVIN: Yes, it's called Sad Nauseum.

KELLY: Is that kind of like when a baby is raped?

Nausea is a feeling as if you're about to vomit. Vomiting usually relieves this feeling. Nausea is not self-induced like vomiting sometimes is. Nausea is your body's response in saying "I don't like whats in my stomach."

I had too much chinese food; i was overcome with nausea.

1. /noun/ An alcoholic beverage that (due to a small amount of mercury and lead) changes from color to color while you drink it. The immediate affect of the drink is a sudden dream-like high. Can be described as a a truly psychedelic experience. Unfortunately, side affects include "hippie" hallucinations, serious and sudden tremors of the body, and on occasion breaking out into Lady Gaga dance moves as well as songs.

Note: There is a slight chance of permanently altering your central nervous system (a.k.a your brain)...but in a blind test put out by the NIH only 7/10 people had this problem. So take your chance and be one of the lucky 30%...actually no, 20% (the other 10% sort of...."moved on" if you no what i mean, they will be deeply missed).

Nurseoid

A stereotypical nurse who is so burned out and apathetic that health care is second only to her sadistic pleasure of exacting joy from the (often induced) suffering of her patients and colleagues. Bureaucracy and general hospital regulations are her weapons which he or she can and will use to shit on all who incur her wrath. All it can take is a single inch incursion into a sterile field and she will rain hellfire and damnation onto you, old testament style. It is highly recommended to get in their good graces, by any means necessary, and your healthcare life will be made exponentially less stressful.
