Refers to a form of societal induced peer pressure where society expects individuals to commit heinous, sometimes violent, generally destructive and/or polarizing actions in order to be socially accepted, whether or not said individual genuinely wanted to commit said actions or not.
Famous examples of Toxic Masculinity throughout history include: The Salem Witch Trials, The Spanish Inquisition, Stalinist Russia, many aspects of Spartan training.

Get the Toxic Masculinity mug.A way of thinking in 13-year-olds - who have never lacked for anything - that stems from being raised by a toxic father, whose mother should have filed for divorce far too long ago.
- Embrace masculinity, reject modernity.
- If you want to see ripped men, just go on the gay side of the hub dude...

Get the Embrace Masculinity mug.Men who think they automatically are stronger and know more than women. They have no problem grabbing women without consent and are willing to get violent without serious cause.
Versus: Masculine men who are strong and tough. Have feelings that they’ll share when they feel like it. Understand that they don’t have to. Willing to protect but understand that violence is not the one and only answer.

That toxic male stuck his hand up my dress and then didn’t understand why he got his behind kicked by the normal guys who know he’s not cool, just a creep. Toxic masculinity at its finest. Seriously eye roll.

Get the Toxic Masculinity mug.A feminist theory that has been around for decades long before the boogeyman of "leftist beta social justice man-haters" had come around, which had only recently become popular due to (rather insecure) people confusing and associating term for minority groups of political extremists that get cherry-picked online, to promote a culture of "cringe" and outrage.
This term has become a part of online discourse due to the recent drama (as of this time of writing) coming from a Gillette commercial condemning the idea of manhood being ignorant towards people of the opposite gender, and instead promoting a culture where people learn how to be socially conscious of one other.
The outrage that had sprouted out of this had come from the confusion and intermingling with circles of discussion on the internet that had been keen on promoting an outrage culture, bringing along people coming from those circles to rant, or merely discuss the apparent "misuse" terminology while at the same time misinterpreting the commercial as some sort of planned political agenda against the male masses.

Wow! How dare they mention my "toxic masculinity" in a commercial, that was just telling me to be nice towards the opposite gender? Oh that crossed the line! This is obviously the feminist agenda! Wow, I can't believe I got to see the day where men are so oppressed.

Get the Toxic masculinity mug.A term to describe aggression, particularly from a male. The female equivalent of the term, for aggression from a female, feminine toxicity, does not exist or has not been pushed in popular U.S. media as there is no push for such an openly sexist term as there has been for the term "toxic masculinity."

Get the toxic masculinity mug.A term used by feminists to mock products that are targeted for males
It's especially used by Liberals to describe something like Q Tips or Shampoos that has the word 'For men' and other shits like that as evidence that masculinity has became so fragile that they need to make a simple product look masculine, aside this whole 'Fragile Masculinity' being so hypocritical (considering the fact feminized products also exists everywhere in Supermarkets) the type of people are completely unaware of the irony that they're doing the same thing as people with Fragile Masculinity do, whine

Jennifer: Omg guys, Q Tips for Men actually exists?!, #MasculinityIsFragile
James: that can just be easily said that products like Shampoos for women are signs women are anxious about their femininity
Jennifer: OMG You're such a misogynistic, low life, sad, and pathetic Incel! I hope no one will attend your funeral!
James: Ah, the sweet,sweet irony
