Metagaming

A common term used in Role-Playing game that tells real life details or something that goes beyond the limits or environment set by the game.
Often frowned apon in Role-Playing.

Some Metagaming noob wanted his job as the Mayor back after he stated that he supposedly "lagged out of the server."

That Metagamer was banned from the server for calling the police to report a marijuana plant sticking through a wall outside a player owned apartment.

An Irish term for something that is unfavourable or has no use.It is also used as a derogatory term, and is a variant of the word 'melojin'. Melogent is often used during games of poker to describe a bad hand or poor cards. It can also refer to someone that is lucky or 'jammy'

'The light bulb burnt out, now it is melogent'(useless)

'The Light bulb burnt out because it was melogent'(crap)

'These cards are melogent!'(not very good/useless/crap)

'Shane Byrne is a melogent'(a great number of derogatorty terms- fat, unhygienic, bent, fudge-packer etc.)

'Shane Byrne is melogent'(Can mean the same as the above term but commonly means the emodiment of the characteristics of a melogent, ie. usless, crap or lucky)

MeToo

A feminist movement that started around a case of actual harm where an actual crime was committed but quickly spiraled to false accusations for political and economic gain, petty revenge, and brief fame by changing the definition of rape from anything from actual rape to looking at a woman for more than 5 seconds. It was justified by the idea that one should believe all women, all the time, and take their words without question and their accusations without investigation.

In the process it completely discredited actual rape victims.

The movement effectively came to an end when democrats were accused of rape and MeToo activists started blaming the victims to support their political candidates.

I wanted his job so I used MeToo to get him fired based on the accusation that he raped me by unconsensually saying "hello" while passing me in the hall.

3 : literary or artistic theory or practice that affirms the preeminent value of whatever is popular with the general public at a specific time and place, regardless of how silly a given trend may be, or how short it may last, and how foolish you will feel when it's over. At least you weren't alone right?

Bob: "You got one? Me too! Hey thats a metooism ain't it?"
