Post-Grunge

A style of alternative rock that evolved from grunge in the mid-90's. Post-grunge employs the distorted guitar, vocal dynamics, and lyrical tone of traditional grunge music, albeit in a more radio-friendly manner.
Post-grunge can be plain hard rock or edgy alt-metal. A few post-grunge bands, like Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, and Godsmack cross over into Nu-metal.

Grunger

Someone (male or female) who
a) is anti-fashion
b) has long hair
c)invariably like NIRVANA and other grunge seattle based bands
d)likes heavy rock, metal, punk etc.
e) tries to be peaceful
f) hates non-individual, un-genuine people (e.g. townies and fakers)
g)cares about other people, not just themselves
h)doesn't try and act "cool" just is themselves
i)wears clothes, that are as cheap as they can find but still comfotable and good enough to wear - often from charity shops or from ebay. Often wears baggy jeans/trousers, tops WITHOUT LOGOS ON, jumpers (a la Kurt Cobain), earthy colours -greens, beiges, kharkis (but not in an army style)

Grungers dont care what other people think of them. They love music and as long as they are happy and their friends are happy they are content.

Grungers

A person who listens to grunge music (e.g. Nirvana) and dresses in the style that such bads adhere to (e.g. baggy, usually untidy looking, clothes). Others could be perceived to be grungers due to dressing in that style of clothing although they may not listen to grunge. To be a "true" grunger the person must do both.
