1. Dutch slang for Buddy or Friend. Gabbers are often related to the skinhead movement, because when the Genre emerged (See below), they would shave their heads and wear tracksuits as clothing. This was in response to the Amsterdam house movement, who are often seen as pretentious, and classy.

The idea of a gabber is so out of our english dictionary that no matter what we use, the only way to describe the pure genius of the child when he said "Gabber" shows the infinite possibility of the word. The word was used in the legendary song called "I Love Cock 2" which is the sequel to "I Love Cock". The statement can be used in many different ways from describing a food. Racist bastard who wears Lonsdale clothing, has a wicked hairstyle / shaven head and bad musical flavour. Originated in Rotterdam, Holland, and was most popular during the ninetys. 'Gabber' is an old dutch word for 'mate'. Gabbers go to nightclubs, pop pills and listen to hardcore techno with angry/evil lyrics. These days Gabbers are known as Lonsdale kids. Associated with the techno band Thunderdome who are group that oranises raves and pouts out CD's and the gabber clothing.
