email it

A link that almost nobody uses, found underneath every definition in Urban Dictionary. To the left of the "email it" button is the date (month,dd,yyyy) that this particular word was added.

When "email it" is clicked, a javascript interface will pop open below the text you plan to email. This blue box contains permalink information, an "add to del.icio.us" link, and the usual "email-to friend" fields. In the latter, you need to type both yours and your friend's email address.

You also have the option of signing up to their "Word of the Day" feature while you're at it, and they assure you that they won't give out your address. Over all, it's a good system and if you ever come across a funny word (i.e. fart), you can easily share the laugh with your mates.

email paranoia

Becoming paranoid and anxious when you don't receive any email for a long time. Most applicable to office mails when you otherwise receive a ton of them (with issues).
Bob: (in worried tone, holding stongly to his coffee in office) I haven't got a single mail from last 10 minutes! Something is wrong!

Kevin: Don't worry Bob, you're just experiencing email paranoia. Take a deep breath and relax, you would get your next shit load of issues soon.

email-anxiety

When there is so much shit going on at work or in your personal life that you are scared to check your email, fearing that emails will just bring more shit that you will be unable to handle. Also related to blink-and-boom conditions with emails, where you blink and 10 emails drop in your inbox, while you were still responding to the last 50. In blink-and-boom situation, your delirious mind starts to think that somehow the blinking is causing more emails. So you stop blinking - hoping that emails will stop coming or senders of those emails will look at your red teary eyes, have mercy on you and stop sending more emails ( hardly ever works, but give it a shot ).

email ping-pong

"Email ping-pong" is the act of email correspondence between two people getting out of hand or control.

It usually starts of with a comment, opinion or observation that becomes misunderstood or misinterpreted by the recipient. The recipient then responds with comment, opinion or observation...and so on. It is not uncommon for participants to ping-pong 10, 20 times or more before they realise they haven't got a clue what started it all in the first place!
The act of email ping-pong might start quite innocently!

Ping - Dear ^+*%$#,I noticed blah, blah, blah...
Pong - Dear *£*'@}$, As you should be aware... (how dare you tell me what I should do)
Ping - Dear ^+*%$#, I am perfectly aware... (Get your head out of your arse)
