Emotional Constipation

Emotional but unable to express it. Either because of 1.) numbness or 2.) it is socially inappropriate to do so.

1. Bob wants to cry but he just can't for some reason, even though he knows it will make him feel better. Guess he's experiencing some emotional constipation.

2. During the funeral, Jerry wanted to erupt into laughter but knew that it would be socially-inappropriate. She was emotionally-constipated.

Kyle: "Why aren't you talking?"
B.J.: "I'm suffering from a little bit of word constipation."

Kyle: "You still haven't said anything."

Corporate Constipation

The general inability to produce any final outcomes or progress within a corporate environment. Due primarily to ineptitude in management and policies that prevent the full release of employee performance and potential.

A synonym for writer's block, only more extreme. Where one cannot think properly due to many things: insomnia, nightmares, under-disgested hummus, brain farting and many more serious reasons such as amnesia.

Person 1: What's 2+2?
Person 2: Uhh...34?
Person 1: ...what?
Person 2: Sorry, I'm suffering from mental constipation
