They're Intel's only competitor on the production of desktop CPUs.
They are infamous for making the Bulldozer line-up of CPUs as well as Ryzen.
They also have the dankest tech memes and the worst product puns.

AMD has Ryzen above the competition, which is pretty Epyc.
