screen fiend

A person who cannot live life without a technological screen in front of them - phone, tablet, p.c., t.v., movie, and even GPS device. They go from screen to screen in their waking hours and do not live live through their own eyes.

Jay: This eclipse is amazing, Shonda! I am so glad we are here witnessing it together.
Shonda: I know! I am capturing it on my phone so that we can watch later on my tablet! It probably looks better through a screen anyway...

Tearing somebody a new one online from safely behind the monitor, phone or tablet screen. Similar to road rage.

Don’t mention politics on my uncle’s Facebook wall. He gets screen rage and loses his mind. He needs therapy. I don’t trust him online or at the wheel!

Screen Ache

When you look at your phone, tablet, computer, TV, etc. screen for so long that you get a headache. Usually happens when you watch small to moderate size videos/ episodes of something that just sucks you in.

Jack: "Oh dude I watched {enter favorite YouTuber's name} on my iPhone for so long that I got a screen ache"
Claire: "That's the worst!"

There was a lovely spread on the table and the host of the dinner party was offering a toast when Jim's phone beeped and he removed it from his pocket to respond to a text message. Alice screen shamed him, by castigated him audibly.

Screenlynch

A portmanteau of screenshotting and lynching, screenlynching is the taking of a screenshot from a internet group with a small or private audience and reposting said screenshot without the appropriate background context in another internet group, for the purposes of getting the screenlynched person criticized or flamed.

Mary screenlynched Jack by posting a screenshot of his Facebook comment ("I like children"), originally made in a "Involved Dads" group, in a rabidly anti-pedophilia group.
