glitter check

another word for pap smear. "pap" makes you think of sounds,like popping, smacking, or old people without teeth gumming food. smear gives the false illusion of bagels being in the picture.
glitter check sounds less threatening, more clean, and less like your grandmas gynecology.

A:I totally went to the gyno for a glitter check.
B: I'm so glad we call it that now. So much more pleasant sounding than pap smear.

Cellphone, wallet, keys check. Padding your pockets to reassure yourself you still have everything you put in them.

headphone check

When you listen to a song you like in public but would be embarassed or emasculated if someone knew you where listening to it, so you pull your head phones down and check to make sure they aren't loud enough for other people to hear your music. Usaully if too loud you lower the volume or switch songs to avoid getting called gay if some one where to hear.

guy1 " dude did you see that guy during study hall he pulled a headphone check"

Guy2 " yeah I was sitting next while he was listening to Britney spears he pulled a headphone check to confirm his fear that I could her what he was listening to.

When you see something on Facebook that you think might be insensitive, politically incorrect, or discriminatory but you decide to ask a friend before you blow it up.

Man, FB just came back with a woman as the first result when I searched for a .gif for “evil face”, can I get a woke check?

We asked the teacher if we could use mathematical tools, she said you have a "blank check".
Dad said that I would have a "blank check" on his car once I graduate.

Rain Check

A word improperly used when trying to let someone down that you have no interest in thinking it will put them down lightly. When in reality it only ticks them off because you couldn't just be upfront and tell them No. It's improperly used because they never cash it in which is the whole point of a raincheck.

Aww how sweet, I already have plans for today with my Girlfriends I will have to put a Rain Check on that and maybe follow up.
