A Scottish phrase originating from the town of larkhall south of Glasgow, a name used as a term describe someone who is a homosexual trapped in the closet, supposedly coming from a old landlord in the 80s who was known to hit on young men in the area.

He said he’s not gay but I think he’s a Lewis Macdonald.
