To go poop. Colossians is the shortest book in the Bible and can be read in 3-5 min—while going #2.

After three burritos and a side order of nachos, I snuck away from the family to go read Colossians.

reading assignment

Something that teachers assign nearly every night. Students don't usually give a crap and read the assigned material, only to be in shock when there's a quiz on it the next day. On Rate My Professors, they can easily be denoted if they have the Get Ready to Read tag.

I heard our new teacher's a really tough grader. He puts out reading assignments every class and ends up quizzing you on it the next day.

Beach Read

A literary novel that is deeply rooted in the beach house/town. The setting is almost a character in the book. Usually someone is at a crossroads in their life and they find a new path forward through their time at the beach.

A good Beach read takes the pace of summer at the beach - it has twists and turns, axillary characters woven throughout, parallel plot devices, and often a love story in the mix too.

The Beach Read is the perfect novel to accompany one during the holiday to the beach.
