conversational coma

An eye-glazing lethargy induced by an individual that insists on explaining in depth a subject of little or no interest to his audience. More prevalent in mixed groups of engineers, scientists, and non-technical people.
"Laurie felt herself slipping into a conversational coma as a guy named Bob, a geologist she met at the party, insisted on explaining in detail why pyroxene and amphibole minerals were present in metamorphic terranes, whatever all that stuff is."

Conversationship

A conversationship is more than friends, Less than a Relationship, Less than a Flirtationship, And just a Mutual something where 2 people's chats on whatsapp are in the honeymoon phase without flirting.
Joh me & John are definitely in a Conversationship, It takes us like an entire day just to answer one message because of how much we say in just one message"

Conversational Grenade

An incredibly jaw dropping statement guaranteed to bring any conversation to a screeching halt. Such as randomly dropping a slur or extreme political position.
"Hey did you remember last night when James made that conversational grenade of a joke?"

"Yeah he definitely went too far."
