Alpha Couple

An Alpha Couple consists of two people who strive to fulfill society's traditional norms regarding education, marriage, employment and child-rearing. Some would refer to them as "The Perfect Couple".
Both man and woman have university degrees and are likely to have married young (in their mid-twenties).
Though not necessarily an Alpha Male himself, the man is the breadwinner, holding down a white-collar job in IT, Finance, Accounting or Marketing.
His wife, although university-educated, has few ambitions other than raising a family. If employed at all, she is likely to work mornings or have her own small business (eg: a small shop or nursery).
Financially, the couple are secure, with little or no debt save for a home loan. Although still in their twenties or early thirties, both are already making provisions for retirement.

"OMG, Garry and Kate have just got married and already they're talking about buying a house and starting a family! They're SUCH an Alpha Couple!"

Sibling Couples

Two people who happen to be dating and also happen to look like they are siblings; generally greeted with fear and disgust. Normally they are made fun of by people who have no idea who they are but see them 'macking' on each other in public.

Extra Points: They dress similarly. They have similar names. They randomly have the same last name and/or they are actually siblings.

"In the long run it's a good thing you and Fredrick didn't go out, because you would be one of those gross sibling couples."

fred couples

Fred Couples is one of the most popular golfers on the PGA tour, he has many PGA tour victories and has appeared on many Rider Cup and Presidents Cup teams. However, his career is defined by winning the '92 Masters and contending in many others including being in the '06 final pairing. Truly a good ol' boy with a sweet swing that looks more natural playing golf than just about anybody.

Fred Couples won the 1992 Masters Tournament.

brooklyn couple

Those super adorable, very affectionate couples that you always see on the A,C or the L or any other brooklyn-bound trains in new york city. They are usually the intellectual type, grad students/thirtysomethings who can't afford/don't want to live in manhattan; or grown-up hipsters, and often still have the leftover trappings of the emo (square glasses, converse).

1. "I was coming home from the park on the C and I saw the most adorable brooklyn couple holding hands and being quietly witty to each other and I just about died."

2. A perfect example of a brooklyn couple would be Jonathan Safran Foer and his wife, Nicole Krauss, both successful writers.

Created in 2009 by Jevastus Destinus, this "word" means "a worthless pathetic whore that fucks a couple of boys everyday for a couple of bucks". Usually an attention whore. "whore" is replaceable with "slut, bitch, hoe, prostitute, and doxie".
