It is a dance that consists of putting either arm outstretched to one side of your body while also bending the other arm inwards and tucking your head behind the elbow. It was originally created as a dance which black people used but then, white children found out how 'hip' and 'cool' it was and created a new form of autistic dancing.

White Child 1: Hey Chad, look at my mother freaking dab bro!
White Child 2: Woah, but look at me! I can do five dabs in two seconds!!!!
White Child 1: Cool! Wanna dab in front of our teacher when she does roll call?
White Child 2: Hell freaking yeah!
