Chicago Politics

Commonly referred to on CNN in relation to the Obama presidential campaign, but never explained because journalists are to afraid too explain it. There is a good reason. Chicago politics are incredibly corrupt, dead people still vote, big businesses get "incentives", and friends of the politicians get jobs, money, cars ect. However bad this may sound, Chicago is the city that works, even its corruption works, surprisingly well actually; so much so that people make light of the dead vote, the jobs, and the dynasty like families that run the city. Chicagoans love it, because "Chicago Politics" have produced one of the best, most beautiful, and unique cities in the world where a poor man of mixed race, raised by a single parent can become a world icon.

When you go into a Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom or Marc Jacobs and there are $50 tank tops stretched and faded, and generally looking like they came out of a pile of salvation army clothes. you are think WTF? but other people are eagerly trying them on and buying them, even though if you were to suggest they go to an actual thrift store and get the same clothes for $1.99, they would be shocked/horrified/appalled.

That $200 faded black hoodie with the intentional silver paint splotches is so thrift store chic.

Chicago, Wisconsin

Largest and most diverse city in the midwestern United States. Chicago used to be geographically located in Northeastern Illinois, but is currently being willingly engulfed by the state of Wisconsin to the north. This came in the wake of the embarrassing Rod Blagojevich scandal, also rampant forclosures and record unemployment in the Chicagoland area-- which has spurred an influx of former Chicagoans spilling over the border into Wisconsin, in search of financial and psychological relief.

Chicago, Wisconsin has finally made the leap from just drinking Wisconsin beer to now exclusivley paying Wisconsin taxes.
