Solemn Mass

Solemn Mass was the most common before 1962. The Priest would be assisted by a Deacon and Subdeacon. Including a MC, Thurifer, two Acolytes, and some servers to carry torches at the Canon. All parts are sung and chanted. The Subdeacon reads the Epistle, while the Deacon chants the Gospel. The Priest sings the rest of the Mass.

An SSPX Chapel had solemn Mass for the feast of the Assumption.

Shopper of Mass Destruction

The retail shoppers who make sure that they mess up the whole store in search for that one shirt they MUST have which ends up getting returned a week later.

John- "My department looks perfect. Nothing can mess this up. I can finally relax!"

A weapon of mass destruction is a weapon that can fuck people up really bad such as that bomb dropped on Hiroshima.

Man 1: “Dude did you see that weapon of mass destruction that was dropped on Hiroshima? Do you think anyone survived?”

Western Mass

Short for Western Massachusetts. Western Mass is, as the name implies, the western half of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is made up of four counties, Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire. Often called Massachusetts' "better half" due to the fact that it offers the same charm as the eastern half of the state, with more natural scenery and less hussle and bussle.
