Sneakflation

When companies reduce quantity and sometimes quality without changing the appearance of the packaging to avoid raising prices, and pass the cost on to less mindful consumers. They may also have hidden fees or changes in services or surcharges that are on top of the retail price, such as shipping cost changes. In some cases, the reduction in quality or guarantee reduces the useful life or makes maintaining the product or service expensive. Social media and streaming services may keep prices lower by adding advertisements. Larger companies may change the terms of the credit card interest rates especially those with the company credit card.
Sneakflation has crept into the streams services where programs are interrupted in the worst way with obnoxious adds, and obscene product placement in movies.
