Goth Punk (or Gothic Punk) is the definition of the roots of dark punk, which is what Goth is. They were originally called DEATHROCKERS, or DEATH PUNKS. In the beginning heydays of punk rock(late 1970's/early 1980's) there were bands like TSOL from Orange County, Siouxsie & The Banshees from the UK, and Chritian Death from L.A. They created a dark form of punk that had defied the borders of the Anarcho/Peace Punks (from the UK), and American Hardcore punks (espeically the Anit-Fashion types) tastes.
Musically, the term goth punk today helps define the sound of bands that have an old school hardcore punk (aka street punk or Thrash) sound with dark lyrics and optionally added keyboard/symphonic samples and electronics. Since goth has strayed away from its punk roots with the rise of Nu-Metal, EBM, and Emo-Pop, the rebellious reaction is more extremely "punk" style goth bands arising in the underground.

Describes a type of fashion, music, attitude or other personal style that shares some traits with both the gothic style and the folk or "hippie" style, but more connected to tradition and history. Celebrates the historical tragic romantic. Not dissimilar to contemporary pilgrim.

A victorian goth is still a goth but one who dresses in an older style. A victorian goth may be seen wearing a black corset, long black skirt, boots and maybe a shawl or umbrella. Plus jewelly of course. This type of goth is not to be mistaken for a vampire goth, they dont wear fangs but still wear a paler shade of foundation (and no Im not saying that they're not dark skinned). Male victorian goths wear black trousers, maybe waist coat or jacket. Plus top hat (maybe).
A victorian goth can be labeled from their clothing BUT they do have their own mannerisms.

One of the most digusting types of people that exist on this world. Their hair looks like it began dreading, and is dyed in various mix-matching colors.
They were eyeliner that is thincker than a racoon's black fur around their eyes. ERRRM, thats not attractive, sorry to break it to you.
Usually found around Hot Topic, they try things on, and wait for it to open every morning so they can talk about how harcore they are, and make fun of stores such as Abercrombie and Hollister California.
They associate themselves as being major fans of bands such as:
-Slipknot
-H.I.M
-or Insane Clown Posse (ICP)
Technically, they are a bunch of posers who come to their realization when they hit the age of 16. They look back to see how stupid they looked trying to actually look "HardCore"

Mall Goths - Wannabes - The kids with bad excessive make-up equipped with Manson or Cradle of Filth shirts. They hate their parents for buying them everything and they shop at hot topic. Usually seen lerking around the local Shopping malls.
