Funderberger Party

A FunderBerger Party, as originally conceived by Jacob Funderberger of Southern California, is when a group of friends organize a fake party in order to impress or make jealous those around them. This is best accomplished by planning the details of the party out loud and in public (school, restaurants, and stations of public transport) so that it seems real to those not involved. Members of the Funderberger Party are made aware of the fact that there is no party when they are repeatedly asked by other members if they will be attending. This covertly indicates to a member the fact that it is a Funderberger Party, and not a real party, without alerting others to the joke.

Flander Effect

The phenomenon wherein a storyteller slightly exaggerates small details of a story every time it is retold to the point where an interesting story becomes outrageously unbelievable.

Storyteller: So now we're flying around the turn at 120 MPH...
Listener 1: Hold on, last time you said you were going 110 MPH, and the time before that 100 MPH...
Listener 2: Sounds like your story has been corrupted by the Flander Effect.

Fader

A Fader is someone that starts out as a loser. As time progresses this 'loser' doesn't do anything to better himself/herself. They are content to 'fade.' They just let life pass them by while nothing to better themselves (like getting laid, making more money, going to school etc. To 'fade' is defined as 'slowly diminishing', becoming less and less until they eventually 'fade away'...

"Wow they dude is such a fuckin' loser; he's been losing so long now he's a fuckin' fader! He should get a tee-shirt made that says, "Born to Fade" on one side and "Fader for Life" on the other!
