Text conversation

A conversation, usually in text, MSN or Facebook chat, in which the conversee's (people in the conversation) communicate using only 'smiley' faces (faces can also be sad), and sometimes single letters, for example 'K' and 'U'.

An example of text conversation using only smiley faces;

Guy 1) She broke up wiv me.
Guy 2) :\
Guy 1) :'(
Guy 2) :(
Guy 1) :)

Another example is when one person is trying to keep the conversation alive, whilst another is only using smilies and single letters.

Guy 1) R U cumin 2 town?
Guy 2) Yeah, are you coming in as well?
Guy 1) Yeh
Guy 2) I might be a bit late.
Guy 1) :\
Guy 2) Is that ok?
Guy 1) K
Guy 2) OK, I'll see you later :)
Guy 1) KK, cya.

converselfie

When a person is only interested in their own story or topic. Any other topics or speakers are ignored and often talked over.

Bastard: My opinion is that topic 1 is really good and I think we should do it
Fred: Topic 2 is also possible because...
Bastard Having a Converselfie: and I think topic 1 is great because it is my idea
Jane: It could also...
Bastard Having a Converselfie: the other day I saw a duck.

Converstractions

When individuals at work become so involved in email conversations that it becomes a distraction and halts all productivity. Converstractions can also be a form of procrastination or a result of total lack of motivation.

I have not completed any work because on my converstractions with my friends.

The word you use when you dont want to tell someone what you are talking about

Person walks up...

"hey what you talking about?"

"OH we're just conversationalising."

"Aaah.."

The person turns and walks away as the others carry on conversationalising.

2. how quickly an individual can fabricate a believable story while under scrutiny

A real-life instance of good Conversational Reflexes:

I just was going 125mph in my rental car 10min before reaching a security checkpoint.

Officer: "is that a rental? how fast does it go?"

Me: "I wouldn't know, this car is really slow"

Effectively ending an online conversation before it has begun, with use of words such as "ntm", "nm", and "nmu?"

Person1 says:

Conversation abortion, dude, conversation abortion.
