Google Reader

A kickass online Magazine. Honestly, just a grip of online articles, including a wide variety of media from AP articles to the latest Justin Beiber fail video.=P Indeed a very intuitive and interesting creation.

Haha, dude, I just saw Justin Beiber walk face first into a revolving door. Thank God for Google Reader.=)

Uncle Google is like that scary older relative that your mum warns you about hanging around with, but you do anyway because he knows almost everything; and he can always be relied upon to show you some puppies. Unfortunately he also makes you look at dirty pictures too, whether you want to or not.

1) Researcher of the lowest order; a person who uses google to accomplish most of their daily work, often a task performed for someone too busy, important or ignorant to run a google search themselves.

Synonyms: knowledge worker, journalist, fact checker

1) Chief: Clarke, I need the phone number of a postal worker in Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, last name of McFeeley.

Clarke: I'm on it chief.

Lois: Clarke don't you ever want to be more than just a Google Bitch?

3) Professor: What's the name of that company in Los Angeles that does that thing with that enzyme?

Grad Student: Uhh . . . Riocatalytics.

Professor: Thanks Google Bitch!

Google Shaming

Openly mocking ignorance which could easily be remedied by a simple Google search. Typically passive aggressive and deadpan, Google shaming is often missed by the recipient.

John: Where can I find a free PDF converter?

Jane: Uhm... OK. Have you tried... like... Google?

Dave: Wow Jane. Nice Google Shaming.

Phrase used in response to a random question which could have been easily answered by simply Googling it. Usually after a few quick taps on your phone.

A more polite form of JFGI, but with the same message.

him: I wonder what Zeitgeist means?
her: According to Google, Zeitgeist means "the spirit of the times". And here are the top ten topics searched for last year...
