When these hoaxes and misrepresentations are disseminated continually they develop into to quasi-real stories talked about and mentioned on various chat rooms or online forums with an upward inflection ending with a question mark. These stories become an “intertrend” that must be rebuffed, dispelled and corrected by people with very little patience for the galactically stupid.
