A character from the classic television show M*A*S*H, Major Frank Burns was a roommate of Hawkeye and B.J (or Trapper depending on season). Burns was an extremely conservative and very G.I. Overall someone to be described as a Frank Burns is a hypocrite and a kiss ass rule follower.
