Oakum
n : loose hemp or jute fiber obtained by unravelling old ropes; when impregnated with tar it was used to caulk seams and pack joints in wooden ships
(these seems are called The Devil...the origins of the term "the devil's to pay")

It obviously means to take flight quickly, though I do not know the full history of the term...

oasis

One of the best bands to come out ince the beatles (which is the best band ever) They released legendary songs on their 1995 album "(whats the story morning glory?" They were Wonderall, Champagne Supernova, and Dont look back in anger. Unfortunatly, those songs are all they ever were really popular for. People need to know that every cd theyve made is incredible and they have great stuff besides those 3 songs (not that they are bad) CHECK THEM OUT IF U LIKE SOME GOOD OLD RUCK AND RULL

Oak Crest Middle

A school in so-cali next to the beach but utterly uninhabited by surfers. Filled with a few types of kids: the don't care get it troube kids, the annoying kids, the too-cool for school kids, the bratty eighth grade girls, and the dorks. but they are cool dorks, and make up for all the other people at oak crest. bad seventh grade science teachers. better than digueno.

Kid: Oh my god I just had the worst day
Kid: Oh why
Kid: I just came from Oak Crest Middle

A small bean shaped creature that very much enjoys eating oats. This bean come from outer space falls in farmers fields and with te assistance of the farmer grows untill it can de-root its self. Most Oatbeans are called George and appart from eating oats they also love hoola-hoops.
