A Scene kid is a kid usually 14-21 who love going to shows(where the scene is) being loud and colorful, and all things music. Scene girls tend to wear skinnies v-necks, plaid, neon blaack anything NOT form hollister or abercrombie. have amazing hair which the tease, spike, or with extentions. colored usually with bows or crowns,
scene boys wear same as girls do, LOVE the ladies, are loud are addicted to their ipod ect.

love myspace, their phone, and the mall on weekends.

all hang in big groups and what not. thier a more colorful louder kind of super-emo.

Another word for 'emo' or 'trendy'. What's 'in'.

Scene Kids usually have choppy black hair and wear eyeliner. The guys wear tight band shirts. More points if it's a band no one has heard of. They wear studded belts and chuck taylor or vans. Plastic bracelets and big white-rimmed glasses that take up half their face. Tight girl pants. Pearls and bows, hair bands and things that little kids would wear. Their screen names usually contain 'x's. The more x's you have, the more 'scene' you are. AIM profiles usually have their myspace links in it, and are laced up with lyrics. More points if its 'emo'. Stars, hearts, and checkers are all 'scene'. Being straight edge is scene' Talking about how much you love a certain band, but you've only heard like 2 songs is 'scene.'

Neon colors, guns that go bang bang, vintage clothes, thrift stores, eyeliner like woah, polka dots, collared shirts, tight pants, black hoodies, gauged ears, lip rings, piercing your own body, studded jackets, etc. All scene.

Girl:: I dyed my hair black and pierced my lip today. Cause I'm so scene!!!123

Guy:: I got a new studded belt and band shirt size youth small from Hot Topic today.
Another Guy:: Shh! No one is supposed to know we actually buy things from Hot Topic. The cool thing to do is to order online, so you seem trendy without actually trying to be trendy. Duh.

1. A definition on Urban Dictionary that, for some reason, seemed to prompt prepubescent, androgynous children to post hundreds of black and white pictures of themselves wearing too much gaudy makeup with their hair covering half of their faces, and tight black clothing with obscure bands written on the t-shirts.

2. A contest that involves seeing who can get their hair to cover the most of their faces, listen to the most obscure bands, and have the most "friends" on MySpace.

Look! A picture of a black/pink-haired 15 year old girl wearing too much makeup, net stockings with a ripped skirt, lip rings, and a t-shirt with an obscure band on it on Urban Dictionary! I wonder if she's "scene" or "emo", and how many friends she has on MySpace!

Scene Kid

The Scene Kid has changed over many times and continues to evolve to escape being called "emo" or "scene" so then can be called "br00t4l"
In this i will be identifying the neo scene kid.


Neo Scene:

Guys: think scene but so much more gay
Almost always V-necks and they have to be tight. Tight jeans and or jean cut offs with moccasins. hair can be alike the old scene but also have a piece of hair sticking in the back referred to as a "scene spike" they all think they are "br00t4l" or "chill"

Girls: Not as much obvious...They wear a wide variety but mostly preppy clothes such as Tank tops, solid bright colored shirts, and now bright baseball shirts.
For pants it can be tight jeans, short-shorts, skirt with leggings. Some are more flamboyant and bright than others.

In all entirety they have no fucking clue that they are scene and are offended when you call them that. Most grow out of it and develop their own style but alot of them are positive that they are cool and are unique.
They all think that The Devil Wears Prada and Bring Me The Horizon are extremely good and talented.

Scene Bopping

Scene bopping is the emo/scene kid way of hardcore dancing. It requires no skill or ability. It is basically poor hardcore dancing. There is no rythme in the motion, it is always done during incorrect or unappropriate parts of songs, and looks very sloppy. The kids who do this are called Scenie Boppers.

Scene Bopping- hardcore dancing poorly in skin tight jeans and emo hair.
