when smoking from a bowl, positioning the lighter on the side of the bowl so that it only gets a fraction of the weed rather than going straight over the top and scorching the whole thing. this helps the weed last longer and essentially allows for multiple people to get greens.

corporate kool aid

the PR and Marketing specifically geared towards imprinting the corporate culture and brand as a positive mindset and way of life, targeted to "inside audiences", a.k.a. the employees, of a corporation, most especialy to new hires to help them assimilate into their new environment". In the most successful cases, this is done in such a way that the individual who has "drunk the corporate kool aid" will, outside of work and uncompensated, be a willing and engaged corporate spokesperson, advocating and promoting the corporation's stated views and agenda as True Believer.

Core gamer

A core gamer is someone who plays a larger variety of games than a casual gamer but doesn't play video games with the intensity and dedication of a hardcore gamer.

Using an MMORPG as an example, a core gamer would normally progress through their levels at a steady rate and might join a guild but never divulge too seriously into it or use their guild on occasion, a hardcore gamer would want their guild to be the best and constantly do raids and work out techniques.

Hardcore gamer: "My guild is ranked 400 on the leaderboards, tomorrow we are going to get a new recruit end-game items."

Core gamer: "I play alone/with friends and use my guild for help when I need it, or offer help when others need it but I'm not too concerned with ours being the best."
