1) when no one else is around, they need
someone (like you) to take them places

2) someone who doesn't include you in any activities that they have
with their friends, who you too, are friends with, yet
YOU would invite him or her in a heart beat

3) a person who completely ignores you when he or she
is with a group of people who may be cooler than you

4) a person who can call you ANYTIME and you would be there for them,
and yet if you try to call him or her, they will not pick up;
however, ONLY for using purposes he or she would pick up,
like if he or she needs a RIDE somewhere (yet they would pick up
their phone for any other person)

5) a person who constantly gives you excuses...when you know he or she is completely full of SHIT

and even after all this, this person still calls you their "friend"

A refined 1950s person’s way of saying “Up your ass!” without anyone really understanding it.

My petite blonde bombshell mother would put her hands on her hips in that challenging but white bread snooty manner of hers and confidently state to someone who had pissed her off, “Upper United States, buddy!” and of course she’d already taught me the subtle secret decoding of this cryptic insult which was to just imagine she was saying this in a lame American’s idea of an Italian accent and the United States is really U-S, as in “uppa you ess!”

Used when referred to an organization or individual abruptly leaving without letting the public know, causing confusion, anger, and tons of lost data.
This referred to "Upstream Sea", a person who ran a Minecraft hosting company called SlothHost, which he left to die out.

Guy 1: Did you see that Tomas disappeared?
Guy 2: Dang, I never knew he'd pull an upstream.

Someone who takes advantage of another's kindness or generosity. They pretend to be a friend but are only in it for what they can get out of it. A user takes and takes, rarely gives.

After so & so repeatedly failed to live up to his word I wrote him off as a user.
