A large or small gathering, usually with friends or total strangers, involving massive qauntities of alcohol. During the Throwdown ritual, each participant of the event becomes completely wasted, often resulting in the loss of clothing and/or morals. There are often Miniature Throwdowns (or BroDowns as they are sometimes called) as well, ie; Just hanging out at the pool/grill/house drinking and having fun.
