Violent Passion Surrogate

The inflammatory allegations and viewpoints offered by pundits in the Mainstream Media, calculated to make people feel righteously indignant, angry, and/or fearful.

V.P.S. is great for keeping people divided over pointless issues and bogged down by a never-ending ending stream of misinformation and biased interpretations which exist only within a truncated frame of reference.
Letting yourself be moved by V.P.S., and especially holding it as sound knowledge is anathema to intelligence and progress as it only causes fragmentation and feelings of intellectual and moral superiority.

Etymology: Taken from Aldous Huxley's book, "Brave New World." In that book's planned perfect society, people need a monthly dose of a concoction called V.P.S. to expose their body to all of the violent emotions which their perfect society does not elicit. It is touted having "all of the tonic effects of killing Desdemona and being killed by Othello," and is essential for bodily health.

Rational Thinker: "Relax, He's paid to be inflammatory and administer your Violent Passion Surrogate."

Rational Thinker: "Relax dude, if they're talking about it on the news it's probably not an important issue but a distraction from real goings-on. It's just some Violent Passion Surroagte to keep you from thinking clearly.

comes from the words "sorrority" and "prostitute." A young coed who pledges a sorrority and frequents frat parties, subsequently fornicating with many of them at a time.

Surrogate Boyfriend

1. For a female, a male friend who takes the place of a boyfriend when she is single. Generally speaking, a close male friend who is there emotionally, but is not receiving physical pleasure from the relationship.

2. A close male friend a girl goes to for emotional support when she is single.

Troy - so Dave, Candice came over to your place last night to talk huh?
Dave - yeah.

Surround Sex

Has the same concept as surround sound and basically gives you the effect of actually being there part-taking in actual sex. This requires three (3) or more beds in one room arranged either horizontally or vertically. Surround sex can only be achieved when both roommates in the outer beds are having sex but the one (or more then one) roommate in the middle isn't having sex. Hence the effect of surround sex as he is both surrounded by the sound in at least stereo and the creaking of beds so it gives the impression to the one roommate experiencing this surround sex, that he/she is actually having sex but sadly they are not.

Optional and creepy: The one roommate in the middle not having sex can masturbate to make his surround sex experience more realistic.

Lets say your roommates name is Mike.

"Hey Mike how was that surround sex last night?"

"Oh it was great even though it keep me up all night the surround feeling of Surround Sex made it seem close to real and masturbating only made it better. It was a win win situation for everyone in my opinion."

Sing the Sorrow

AFI's sixth full-length album that shows a more compassionate side of song-writing, it's truly poetic. They no longer are the angry punks they once were but have evolved into a mature alternative band.

This album really kicked off the band's career. Now they have an audience ranging from preps (to my dismay) to hardcore metalheads that are afraid to admit their liking of AFI's sensitive lyrics.

I myself was introduced to STS and fell in love.
