SpongeDoomer

A person who believes that SpongeBob SquarePants, as a franchise, is far past its prime and is deeply pessimistic about that fact. However, this doesn't necessarily mean they hate everything that came after the first movie, compared to that of a SpongeBoomer.

Person 1: Geez, why is Gerald such a SpongeBoomer? He constantly hates on the post-sequel episodes and thinks the show should've ended 10 years ago.
Person 2: Actually, Gerald would be considered a SpongeDoomer, because his favorite season of the show is season 6. He's just pessimistic about the current state of the franchise.
