habanero

An unbelievably hot pepper, reputed to have originated in Havana (La Habana), Cuba.

Often mispronounced by English speakers, the word should NEVER have a "y" sound: it's "hah bah NEH ro", NOT "hah bah NYEH ro". (The "h" is not pronounced in Spanish, but that's probably too much to ask of any gabacho.)

Bob's waiter did not understand why the habanero salsa looked like it hadn't been touched. Bob understood all too well.

The habanero pepper is deceptively un-hot looking: like a brilliant miniature smooth pumpkin.

When one partakes in crazy Friday at any Potbelly Sandwich Shop location, beware of the feverish hunchback figure who seemingly has a ham placed under his/her shirt. It is only seen on crazy Fridays, most recently at the Saline-Eisenhower location. Also called the Hunchback of Notre Potbelly.

HABAFA

Habafa- a word of excitement, horror, confusion, or any exclamation really.
Used when they can't think of a way to express the feeling they're experiencing, or they just want to use something unique. It is more often used online, as it's quite difficult to pronounce habafa.

Person 1: "DUDE DOJA CATJUST COMMENTED ON YOUR POST AND SAID THAT THEY LOVE YOUR WORK"

Person 2: "HABAFA?!?!??!!?"

It a Malay word. Hambar is when a person makes an undoubtedly ridiculous statement, be it factual or non-factual. Intended as a witty comeback but it is often perceived as Hambar if the statement is thought of as lame.

Also known as AK. Pronounced as Ayyy Kayy.

Could be used as an adjective or a noun.
