tide pod generation

refers to Generation Z born between 1996-2010, following millennials. Gen Z has been raised on internet, social media and tide pods. Eating tide pods as babies and later creating a youtube challenge eating them as teenagers. Tide Pod Gen Z has also created a youtube "fire challenge" of pouring alcohol on themselves inside a bathtub lighting a match to see if they catch on fire.

That stupid idiot can't help it, he's from tide pod generation.

Asian Kung Fu Generation

A great Japanese Rock band that isnt Visual. Consists of 4 members; Gotoh Masafumi on Guitar & Vocals, Kita Kensuke on Guitar, Yamada Takahiro on Bass, and Ijichi Kiyoshi on Drums. They have all been influenced by such american bands as Weezer, Radiohead, The Beatles, Oasis, Smashing Pumpkins, Petshop Boys, and many others including other japanese bands. Their style and way of playing is very original in the japanese alternative rock genre that is usually dominated by visual bands.

email generation

The ability to tell in general how old someone is by their email domain.

President Barack Obama once said that baby boomers "Cling to their guns, religion, and AOL.com email domains" - This references the fact that no one below the age of 50 still uses AOL. The baby boomer generation, like most senior citizens of their time, are known for their frugality. That is to say, they are cheapskates. However none of them seem to be able to figure out that free email accounts are widely available and they don't have to pay for it through AOL anymore.

Gen X'ers often stick to hotmail.com or yahoo.com. They don't want to risk coming off the Pearl Jam or Third Eye Blind mailing lists.

Gen Y'ers stick to gmail.com. As are a few forward thinking Gen X'ers (*those whose hotmail or yahoo accounts got hacked at Y2K)

The millennials are just too fuckin' hip to be defined by their email. They just communicate with each other through twitter...I mean snapchat...oh wait that was so last week, how do I find out if my beard and skullcap are still in?

(Woman, to man at a bar) Hi handsome? Nice beard, spectacle glasses, plaid sportcoat, and tight-fitting jeans with the cuffs rolled up. Can I email you?
(Man) LOL!!
(Woman) Well if you change your mind, I'm [e-mail]
(Man) Cougar!

What most of America, particularly Middle America, has become characterized by the ubiquitous Wal-Mart, TGI Fridays, Applebees, Chili's, Gap, J Crew, Best Buy, Target, Olive Garden, PetCo, McDonalds, Banana Republic, Border's, Costco, Home Depot, Nordstrom, Circuit City, KFC, Sports Authority, Starbucks.. and on and on it goes.... until every city/town/suburb starts to blend in and look like one big flavorless mall... where all the people, genericans, mindless zombies, consume and consume and consume.... slaves to corporations and keeping up with the Jones'

As I travelled across the States it was all Generica and I couldn't tell whether I was in Columbus, Ohio or Milwaukee Wisconsin. You know what? It doesn't matter to most as long as they can still get their non-fat Iced Caramel Frappucino...

Generation Alpha

Genneration Alpha are kids born in the years 2012-present. They are the offspring of early generation Y's and late gen x's. They are going to be the most educated and tech savvy people that ever lived until the generation after gen alpha. They will basically be generation z 2.0. They don't remember a time before smartphones or facebook. They are some of the first people to experience a new education system in America with iPads and more collaborative learning. Someday they will be the leaders of the world but only time can tell what it will be like.

Woman: "Awww he's so cute, when was he born?"

Parent of Child: "He was born in 2012."

Woman:"He's got a bright future he's a generation alpha baby."
