When you come out of the closet, only to find yourself in another, slightly larger closet. The word "Babushka" is in reference to the type of wooden doll produced in Russia, which has smaller versions of itself inside.

To "be a babu" means to procrastinate or take forever to do a simple task...

Originated from the term "Babu": a government worker (in Indian subcontinent), typically a clerk or official, who takes a year to do what would normally take a day.... unless he/she has a vested interest (such as bribe) to get it done faster...

Guy: Dude, what's taking you so long to finish the paperwork?
Friend: I dunno man.... I'm not sure I want to do it...

When you say babu to someone, it means that they are a kiddo! If someone calls you a babu it means you are like a lil kid. It is very different from the word "baby" because "babu" has a bit more spice to it. It's not a negative or positive word, but rather a nickname.
