Sinema Vérité

Senator who has the realistic appearance of being a valued public servant, yet whose incomprehensible opinions and beliefs are formed using shaky, simple equipment, and are therefore incongruent with reality or progress.

Arizona voters thought that Sinema Vérité might be a suitable genre in which to sustain and grow the middle class, but it turned out to be an unworkable and embarrassing experiment.

When your spouse/friend/business associate says they did (or didn't) do it. Accept their word with full faith that they are being honest. Then go through their cell messages to confirm they are true angels.

Veritas Aequitas

Made popular by the tattoos sported by the heroic brothers in Boondock Saints the "Phrase Veritas Aequitas is not actually a phrase but rather two seperate words.

Pronounced:
Veritas = VAIR-ee-taws
Aequitas = EK-wee-taws

Veritas: truth
Aequitas: justice, fairness

Veritrash

(n): a descriptor of those who imitate the demeanor and style of dress often shared by the legacy subset of the Harvard University student body; the term originates from a portmanteau of 'veritas', the motto of Harvard University, and 'trash'.
