Tak Guna

A Malaysian word which means worthless, if translated literally.

It's a common expression used by locals when they crapped their pants, stressed, or missed something important. It's used the same way you say "shit!", when something goes wrong.

It's not overly offensive but it can be used as a minor insult when you feel like someone's being a piece of shit, or they're just dumb.

Example 1:

Me: *got kicked by my landlord*

"TAK GUNA!"

Example 2:

"Hey Andy, I used your toothbrush to clean the stove this morning. Hope you don't mind."

"Tak Guna you!!"

Tak's Paradox

Tak's paradox is a theory created which states that teacher's care about mental health and want you to not work as hard as you do to get good grades. The problem with that is if you take a break, then you end up getting low grades on your assignments. Therefore, the theory states that students are always trapped in a constant loop of pain either cuz of low grades or because of high workload and stress.

The teachers didn't take Tak's paradox into consideration.
